May 2, 2020 Election Postponed

In an effort to protect the health and safety of voters and election workers, the NISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved orders to postpone the Trustee Election and Bond Election from May 2 to November 3, or earlier if allowed. Due to concerns amid the COVID-19 public health crisis, a disaster proclamation issued by Governor Abbott on March 18 allowed political subdivions to move their previously ordered elections.
