Northwest ISD Tax Rate
The Northwest ISD Board of Trustees approved a combined tax rate of $1.42 per $100 property valuation in 2019 following a tax rate compression adopted by the state legislature as part of House Bill 3. A school district’s local tax effort is generated from property tax (not sales tax). Each year a school district adopts two tax rates – Maintenance and Operations (M&O) and Interest and Sinking (I&S). Following is the approved tax rate for Northwest ISD.
