“National School Lunch Hero Day”

Please encourage your child or student to write a thank you card to the cafeteria staff in honor of Lunch Hero Day. Our kitchen staff loves getting notes from students.


From now until May 3
rd, students may create a thank you note and give it to the cafeteria staff. The staff will display all cards.


The school that has the greatest percentage of students create a thank you card for their kitchen staff will win an ice cream sandwich for all students on May 10th.
Only one school will win this prize. The reward will go to the school that reaches 100% participation first or the school with the greatest percentage of participation. Elementary, middle and high schools are all competing against each other. Students must be at school on May 10th to get the prize.

Any school that has 10% of students
make the kitchen staff a thank you card, we will offer a free ice cream sandwich to all students that get a Lunch Combo meal on May 10th. Students must get a combo meal on May 10th to receive the ice cream sandwich.
