Each of Northwest ISD’s three comprehensive high schools – Byron Nelson, Eaton and Northwest – held a National Signing Day ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 13, with 25 student-athletes signifying their intent to play collegiate sports and continue their academic pursuits.
The ceremonies marked the first of their kind for the 2019-20 school year, with two more ceremonies at each high school slated to take place in the spring. At Wednesday’s ceremonies, the Byron Nelson Bobcats were represented by 11 student-athletes, the Eaton Eagles were represented by 13 student-athletes and the Northwest Texans were represented by one student-athlete.
Photos of the ceremonies can be seen on the district’s Flickr account. Additionally, photos of both the ceremonies and the posed coach and family images will be available on the athletic department’s online photo gallery in the coming days.
