Important Information

*All Region 2 UIL Music events have been cancelled for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. All practices and rehearsals of any kind have been suspended by UIL until further notice.

*District-owned instrument and uniform return information will be coming soon.

*Teachers are continuing to work diligently to provide quality online lessons that will allow students to continue their learning at home.

*All end of the year celebrations and banquets have been moved to an online format. Check with your program director for specific information.

*All trips and competitions have been cancelled through the end of the year.

*Tryouts and auditions of any kind have been moved to an online format. Specific tryout information will come from the program directors or through campus communication. Tryouts for district-wide groups, such as middle school dance and cheer, will be communicated through NISD News emails.

*Private music lessons may continue online. This is at the discretion of the private lesson teacher and the student/parent. Online lessons may be scheduled directly with the private lesson teacher.

*Construction and renovations of fine arts facilities will continue during online learning and throughout the summer months. Check out the construction updates.

*Instrument selection and sizing for incoming 6th grade students enrolling in band and orchestra have moved to an online format.
