2018-2019 NISD Survey Reveals Parents are Consistently Pleased with the District

Approximately 2,700 parents responded to the NISD parent survey. The survey was available at the end of November through the beginning of December. Results show parent’s perceptions over the categories of school climate, communications, safe and orderly environment, instructional programs and support services continue to remain highly favorable and consistent with the survey conducted in 2016.

Highlights include:

  • 94% feel their child is safe at school.
  • 94% agree teachers hold high expectations for their children.
  • 89% are satisfied with Reliant Transportation services.
  • 96% agree their child’s school is clean and well-maintained.
  • 95% feel their child’s school work requires them to think critically and problem solve.
