2018-2019 NISD Survey Reveals Parents are Consistently Pleased with the District
Roughly 2,700 Northwest ISD parents and caregivers gave their feedback to the school district earlier this year as part of a biennial survey, providing their thoughts on schools and the district. Results of that survey can now be viewed online.
The survey was available from the end of November through the beginning of December. Results show parents’ perceptions over the categories of school climate, communications, safe and orderly environment, instructional programs and support services continue to remain highly favorable and consistent with the most recent previous survey, conducted in 2016.
Highlights include:
- 94% feel their children are safe at school.
- 94% agree teachers hold high expectations for their children.
- 89% are satisfied with Reliant Transportation services.
- 96% agree their children’s schools are clean and well-maintained.
- 95% feel their children’s schoolwork requires them to think critically and problem solve.
District and campus leadership teams are reviewing the survey results and feedback to determine how we can best improve to meet the needs of our parent communities. To view the final report, click here. The individual campus reports are below:
