Registration for the 2019-2020 school year is now open

Registration emails with codes to enroll returning students for the 2019-20 school year will be sent to the caregivers of returning students beginning Monday, April 15.

On this date, enrollment for the 2019-20 school year will open for both new and returning students. Please note that returning students must be registered with the code (referred to as a "snap code") or link sent via email. This will autocomplete the majority of enrollment information for a returning student. A separate email is sent per student.


Emails will roll out in waves and not all snap codes will be sent Monday. Please wait until the end of the week for your child's snap code to arrive. You may need to check your email service's spam or junk mail folder for the email.

If you need assistance with the registration process, please attend the district's summer registration day Thursday, July 18, from 12 - 7:30 p.m. at Northwest High School. Notaries, Spanish translators and representatives from transportation, food services and after-school child care will be there to answer questions.


Enrollment online for the 2018-19 school year 

Northwest ISD's online enrollment and registration process for all students will is open. Through PowerSchool, most information for returning students will already appear filled out based on existing records. Parents and guardians will just need to verify or update existing information and provide proof of residency. For parents and guardians of returning students, this proof of residency can be submitted either online, at one of the summer central registration days (seen in the chart below) or at a student's campus.

Examples of accepted proof of residency documents include a current utility bill (not a phone bill), lease or closing papers (for 30 days until a utility bill is available). If living with a friend or relative within Northwest ISD, an affidavit must be completed, notarized and provided to the school's front office along with a current utility bill.

Enrollment for students new to the district is currently ongoing. New student enrollment will remain open throughout the school year.

Gone are the days of filling out dozens of registration forms by hand at the start of the school year. Northwest ISD has made going back to school easier for returning and new-to-district families with online registration. Parents will now complete the required forms online.

Who do I call for technical help?
PowerSchool Registration/InfoSnap has technical help available at infosnap.zendesk.com or 866-752-6850 or 866-752-6850. Its hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with extended hours, operating until 7 p.m., in July and August. Additionally, campuses can be contacted for assistance for most questions except missing snapcodes.

What is Campus Document Review?

This is a meeting with the parent of a new or returning student and the campus staff, to verify student residency and finalize registration. It is required for all new-to-district families.
