‘Angst’ anxiety documentary screening taking place April 9

The Northwest ISD Department of Guidance and Counseling will host a screen of “Angst,” a 56-minute documentary film and virtual reality experience that explores anxiety, on Monday, April 9.

Northwest High School’s Vernon Solomon Performing Arts Center will host the event, which begins at 7 p.m. “Angst” explores anxiety by looking at its causes, effects and what can be done to deal with it. Included in the documentary are discussions with children, young adults and mental health experts.

The event is open to all students and their families, but it is suggested for people ages 10 and older.
