Northwest ISD has named Natalie Arnold as the new principal of Truett Wilson Middle School, moving from her previous role as associate principal of Northwest High School. Ms. Arnold has served families at the high school campus since 2013 as a teacher, assistant principal and associate principal.

“I am excited to meet all of the families and staff at ‘The W,’” Ms. Arnold said. “I look forward to learning more about our students, collaborating with staff, connecting with our community and building upon the wonderful traditions established at Wilson Middle School.”

Ms. Arnold has worked in Northwest ISD for eight years. Prior to serving in an administrative role, she worked as an instructional support teacher for secondary mathematics. She has also taught math to students ranging from seventh to 12th grade in Arkansas, California and Texas. She has a master’s degree in educational leadership and policy studies from the University of Texas at Arlington and a bachelor of arts degree from Harding University.

“Wilson Middle School is the main hub of learning and connection in our neighborhood, and I am thrilled to be able to partner with our families in this good work as your new principal,” Ms. Arnold said.

Arnold will begin her new role immediately. She replaces Mike Blankenship, who recently accepted the principal position at Northwest ISD’s Eaton High School.
