Northwest teachers enjoy breakfast from the school FFA program

Northwest ISD’s FFA programs at Byron Nelson, Eaton and Northwest high schools kicked off their annual fundraiser with a free breakfast for teachers, and they have now begun selling meats and cookies until Thursday, Sept. 29.

A wide range of meats are available for purchase, from breakfast items such as sausage and bacon to holiday-preparing items such as ham and turkey. FFA students can be asked individually for fundraiser forms to purchase meats and cookies, which will arrive before Thanksgiving, or the school FFA advisors may be contacted.

Funds raised by the meat and cookie sale will go directly to student programs, helping to alleviate costs for travel and events.

Teachers at each of the three high schools received a small preview of the sampling at the annual teacher appreciation breakfasts, which each high school FFA program hosted for its respective school staff.
