Four Byron Nelson High School student-athletes signed letters of intent to play sports at the collegiate level on Wednesday, Nov. 9, including two girls basketball signees and one signee each from baseball and softball.

From the girls basketball team, Sloane Johnson signed with Bethany College (in Lindsborg, Kansas), and Hannah Sellinger signed with Furman University (in Greenville, South Carolina). Both signees just began their senior athletic year with a season-opening win against Fossil Ridge High School.

Byron Nelson’s spring sports were represented by baseball student-athlete Brady Disher, who signed with the University of Arkansas (in Fayetteville), and softball student-athlete Aralee Bogar, who signed with the University of Iowa (in Iowa City).

Northwest High School student-athletes who will also sign letters of intent to play collegiate sports will join their Byron Nelson peers in a separate ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 16. Eaton High School, Northwest ISD’s third comprehensive high school, does not have seniors and therefore has no student-athletes eligible for a signing day ceremony.
