The spring 2017-18 issue of Northwest ISD’s district magazine, Northwest Navigator, is now available, featuring stories from several schools, including one by an Eaton High School student.

Available digitally at this link, highlights of the spring issue include:

  • A story about the design process of the district’s new elementary schools, which included input from current students
  • A story about Eaton’s emergency medical technician program, written by student Taylor Glissman
  • An overview of the Northwest ISD Education Foundation’s recent grant brigade, which awarded district teachers with funds for innovative projects
  • A question-and-answer with three Byron Nelson High School teachers who also graduated from the school
  • Artwork from Love Elementary School students in Megan Valentine’s classes

In addition to the digital copy, a limited amount of printed copies will also be available. When they arrive, multiple copies will be provided to school front offices, and the district will also work to provide copies to the families of any students featured in the magazine.

If your child was featured in the magazine, please email Anthony Tosie, communications specialist and magazine editor, at anthony.tosie@nisdtx.org. Additionally, if you represent a local business interested in obtaining copies for your lobby, please email Mr. Tosie.
