Northwest's Avery Anderson plays defense

The Northwest ISD Athletic Department will begin sales of tickets for Northwest High School’s boys basketball state semifinal game on Tuesday at a discount from the game-day price.

Local tickets are $16 per person and will be on sale from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7. These tickets will be available at the athletic department office, located next to Northwest ISD Stadium at 1937 Texan Drive in Justin/Fort Worth (the side closest to S.H. 114). Children ages 2 and younger receive free admission to state tournament games.

The Northwest Texans boys basketball team plays San Antonio Alamo Heights in their 5A semifinal game at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8. If the Texans win, they will advance to the state final at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 10. All games will take place at the Alamodome in San Antonio. In addition to district ticket sales, tickets can be purchased at the Alamodome during the state tournament. Game-day tickets will cost $19 per person. For those who can't make it in person, the game will be streamed online through the www.nfhsnetwork.com subscription service.
