ELECTION INFORMATION

Upcoming Election - May 1, 2021

Northwest ISD will hold an election for Place 1 and Place 2 on the NISD Board of Trustees on May 1, 2021. Candidate packets are available at the NISD Administration Building (2001 Texan Drive, Justin, Texas) and are due by 5 p.m., February 12. Click here for more information about the upcoming Board of Trustees General Election.

Following the recommendation of the Long-Range Planning Committee, the Board of Trustees called a $745.7 million bond referendum for the May 1, 2021. With a proposal that's $240 million less than the November 2020 bond package, the majority of the 2021 bond will provide nearly 5,000 additional seats for new students. Demographic projections indicate 4,000 to 5,400 new students could enroll in NISD by the 2024-2025 school year.
