13 Byron Nelson High School theater students submitted winning pieces into this year's annual Neighborhood Play Contest, a locally sponsored play writing competition.
Students were asked to write a short play, scene, poem, monologue, or prose and submit to the contest for a chance to have their entry selected for the 2021 Festival of the Kid. Due to COVID-19 protocols, the winning pieces will be rehearsed and produced online.
