Eaton High School will host performances of its theatre department’s “To Kill a Mockingbird” summer play Aug. 10-13, with tickets now available for purchase.

The play, based on Harper Lee’s award-winning classic novel, will be performed in the school’s performing arts center, located at 1350 Eagle Blvd. in Haslet. Performances will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10; Friday, Aug. 11; and Saturday, Aug. 12. The Sunday, Aug. 13, performance will take place at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for children, students and seniors. Adult tickets are $10. To purchase a ticket for any of the play’s performances online through Ticketracker, click here.

“To Kill a Mockingbird” tells the story of a young child learning about society through a courtroom case in a small Alabama town. The novel won Harper Lee a Pulitzer Prize and went on to be adapted into an award-winning film and a play.
